XCALIBER'S MAGICAL TRANFORMATION: FROM SHIPPING CONTAINER TO COZY CHRISTMAS COTTAGE
The holiday spirit is alive and well at XCaliber Container, and this year, we decided to spread some festive cheer by participating in Graham's Annual Christmas Parade and Stroll. Excitement filled the air as we embarked on the creative journey of transforming a basic 20' shipping container into a Cozy Christmas Cottage that would steal the show.
Choosing the Container: Our first step was selecting the perfect 20' container, the canvas for our holiday masterpiece. With the expertise of our production team, we added windows, a door, and even a chimney to the top, setting the stage for a cozy winter retreat.
Decoration Begins: Mounted on a 40-foot tilt bed trailer for easy transportation during the parade, our container was ready to be adorned. Shopping sprees ensued as we gathered Christmas trees, ornaments, gifts, and everything needed to turn our container into a winter wonderland.
Interior Delight: Inside the container, we continued the holiday magic. Two Christmas trees were carefully placed, surrounded by ornaments and gifts. A cozy couch, complete with a snug blanket, making it a perfect spot for Santa's visit. No cozy Christmas cottage is complete without a fireplace, and we spared no effort in creating a makeshift one. Brick wallpaper, a smoke machine, and a battery-powered fireplace machine combined to bring warmth and charm to our festive float.
Exterior Magic: The transformation began with assembling Christmas trees around the exterior, creating a festive atmosphere that would captivate onlookers. Lights twinkled, and a shining star adorned the trees, setting the stage for the cozy Christmas spirit we wanted to share. Hours were dedicated to adding a touch of winter with fake snow, ensuring that every corner of the container exuded a magical, snowy charm. Christmas lights adorned every inch, creating a dazzling spectacle that would shine bright in the holiday parade.
The Grand Reveal: As our XCaliber Cozy Cottage made its way through the Christmas parade route, the crowd's reactions were priceless. We felt the warmth of community spirit and were overjoyed to contribute to the festive magic of the Graham Christmas Parade and Stroll.
